Wonderful old accommodation, accommodating staff, perfect location next to the lake. Bright and cosy units with an amazing modern bathroom. I would stay here again, loved very enjoyable stay.

I loved it, location and staff were exceptional. Very beautiful building, spotless and pretty nice bedroom. The hotel was airy and the outdoor restaurant was very convenient. The pool was lovely and the views were incredible. I had an unforgettable stay here, good value.

It was really fairly clean and friendly hotel, would definitely recommend. Secluded location and absolutely brilliant views, remarkable staff and brilliant service. Based in a local area. The breakfast was good and reasonably priced, all in all food was well presented. Having different complementary drinks in the tapas bar was a very nice touch.
Everything was awesome except the room that definetly needed to be cleaned.

The staff was always available and breakfast was above average. Cool view of sea. Sand beach nearby, that was what I enjoyed. Good service and a huge restaurant, available onsite. Plus, I was able to park my car on-site.

The area contains some restaurants like Cafe Altitude within 5 minutes' walk. Location is MAGNIFICENT. No reason to complain with the hotel. A reasonable base for exploring Ambleside.
